EN/FOLD

Interprint unfolds new potential at SICAM 2026

More ideas. More possibilities. More creative energy. That's what a trade fair appearance should be. And that's exactly what Interprint promises at SICAM 2026 this October in Pordenone, Italy. EN/FOLD opens up entirely new perspectives for visitors to explore. For Interprint, it is a principle of evolution, not abrupt change. EN/FOLD embraces trends, but takes them further. Unfolding their impact in new and unexpected ways.

EXPO SICAM
Oct. 20–23, 2026
Hall 5–C22/D21

The Japanese word EN represents the relationships between people and things that reveal their true meaning only through individual interaction. FOLD describes the movement of transformation. Material unfolds space and its effect. After all, when paper is folded, things can suddenly be seen in a new light. A surface becomes a shape. Becomes a space. Becomes an idea. New possibilities emerge for design. EN/FOLD is playful seriousness, bundled with creative energy.

With this mindset, Interprint has looked at the megatrends of our time. Interpreted them. Developed them further. And in doing so, unfolded their true potential. Three creative lifestyle worlds, featuring extraordinary new decors and design developments, mark the beginning of EN/FOLD at SICAM.

NeoRomantic – The Poetry of Longing

A counterpoint to digital overstimulation? Absolutely. Warm. Emotional. Sensual.

Soft colour gradients, emotional textures, atmospheric woods, and floral elements transform interiors into evocative, literary landscapes. A touch of romance here. A hint of melancholy there. And, in between, a great deal of nostalgia. NeoRomantic creates meaning and counters the loneliness of the digital age. A place to retreat. A place to feel at home.

The Grand – Drama, Baby!

The cultural zeitgeist has made its choice: opulent generosity in interior design is making a comeback. More and more people want their home to be the most inspiring space they enter all day. Rich. Warm. Vibrant. Heaviness instead of lightness. This is reflected in the materials as well. Dark woods full of character. Stone with depth and weight. Surfaces with personality. Identity is created through the conscious and meaningful selection of interiors. The atmosphere is dramatic, yet deeply personal. At a time when the world is becoming increasingly uniform, The Grand opens the door to a world of the extraordinary.

Prime Time – Live well. On purpose.

Spaces become wellness sanctuaries. Clean and clear. Every surface is carefully selected, every material thoughtfully chosen. Nothing is left to chance. Functionality meets warmth. People no longer invest only in their health. They extend their desire for a more conscious lifestyle to walls, interiors, and even kitchen surfaces. Health and longevity have become the status symbols of our time. Interprint's stone, wood, and creative decors express the new healthy and regenerative aesthetic of Prime Time. Structures that can be felt. At the centre of attention: Sustainable & Conscious Materials. The desire for greater sustainability is shaping the future.

Pick Your Green! – Sustainable Paper Alternatives

With these global demands for sustainability in mind, Interprint introduces Pick Your Green! Four sustainable paper alternatives for analogue and digital decor printing. All verified. All tested. Proven sustainability instead of greenwashing.

  • For selected papers, Interprint can provide Cradle to Cradle® certification. Only raw materials from paper recycling and FSC-certified cellulose from responsibly managed forests are used. At SICAM, Interprint will showcase the decor Rookwood Oak on C2C paper. Differences compared to standard paper are barely visible.

  • A significantly reduced environmental footprint is offered by Recycled Paper, delivering up to 25% lower CO₂ emissions compared to standard decor paper. Print quality remains high, and the visual appearance remains premium. At SICAM, the Tailor Oak decor demonstrates exactly that. High lightfastness and consistent surface properties even impress critical buyers.

  • Silphie is a plant cultivated in Germany for biogas production, locally sourced and resource-efficient. What remains after harvesting becomes the basis for an innovative paper. With visible fibres. With a distinctive aesthetic. With uniquely individual surfaces. These pair particularly well with the textures and visual irregularities of Memy.

  • Premium Second Harvest paper makes use of what would otherwise be burned and release harmful emissions: the agricultural residues of fast-growing plants. Nothing extra is cultivated for decor printing. Instead, existing resources are used responsibly and efficiently, preserving materials that would otherwise be lost. Zero waste in its purest form.

Sustainability Through a Holistic Approach

At SICAM, Interprint demonstrates its comprehensive approach to sustainability through holistic surface solutions. From thermoplastic surfaces such as MODUS Film, to durable XELIO finish foils for surface enhancement, and cost-efficient digital printing, Interprint delivers quality and creativity from a single source.

Also featured at SICAM is TOPPAN's specialised Dualsurf decor film for digital content. Another highlight will be Mokumetrix, the analysis tool that uses data-based insights to match decors with specific target groups.
