“Fashion fades, style remains.”
INTERPRINT at the Meble Polska fair
Another edition of the Meble Polska fair is over. This year, the event in Poznan attracted over 14,000 participants from 70 countries. Interprint also attended the fair with its stand in the GARDENcity space, which was a new formula of participation outside the main exhibition space, and presented new decors and an exhibition inscribed in the motto ‘(UN)LIMITED’.
Trends changing like a kaleidoscope are a thing of the past. Our attitude to interiors is evolving – more and more we identify ourselves with Coco Chanel’s words that fashion fades and style remains the same. It is the style that allows us to express our personalities and maintain coherence in design, and makes our interiors timeless. The pursuit of trends and copying interiors from catalogues is not a path to follow. At the Meble Polska fair, Interprint encouraged creative searching that leads to your own definition of what is beautiful.
Creative experiments
Moving borders, going beyond the usual design schemes, searching for your own solutions that will allow you to create friendly and original spaces, and, above all, spaces in which you simply want to be. A visit to the Interprint inspiration zone was supposed to encourage such an approach and a new look at the presented materials. Who said that terrazzo only works on the floor, and the harshness of concrete cannot be combined with the warmth of wood and an injection of dopamine in the form of saturated colours? Anything goes, and discovering new combinations and playing with shapes, forms and textures are most welcome. Because style doesn’t mean following trends blindly. It’s more than that – it's courage in expressing yourself and your aesthetic tastes.
(UN)LIMITED
INTERPRINT once again proved that thanks to the development of technology and drawing inspiration from various corners of the world, it gives unlimited design possibilities, in line with its motto ‘(UN)LIMITED’. To show the possibilities offered by decors, the manufacturer created an exhibition divided into several design zones: an elegant living space, a public space where the main role was played by a concrete feature combined boldly with strong colour points and the Greenfield Oak decor, a kitchen space decorated with a curved wall covered with the Lux decor referring to concrete, as well as a modern piece of furniture representing a working zone with the Vevo decor. The whole display was complemented by carefully selected details and curtains creating the atmosphere of cosiness, warmth and comfort of home.
The visitors’ attention was attracted by the unicolours presented in an innovative way on round pattern charts reminiscent of vinyl records. They made it easier to test combinations with other surfaces. The decors were presented not only on specially made furniture, walls and details, but also on the floor, thanks to which visitors could fully explore the possibilities of using a given decor – also on large surfaces. A new product was also launched at the fair – the Modus Exelle polypropylene thermoplastic film with increased durability. The Xelio finish film, which combines visual values while affecting the sense of touch, was also there. The remaining part of the stand was intended as a meeting place with tables and chairs, enriched with green plants placed on pedestals featuring our decors. It was a space where you could meet and talk, or simply have a rest after the marathon visiting the fair stands.
Starring oak and elm
The heart of our exhibition were proposals presented for the first time during the fair. The subtle Port Oak is intended for lovers of classic elegance. The surface faithfully imitates fine oak wood with delicate grain without visible knots. The decor was presented in four colours. Another novelty was Ancona which refers to the beauty of the elm. This decor focuses attention and is a distinctive design feature. The company also remembered about stone lovers - the Niara decor inspired by quartzite from Brazil enchants with its dynamic, delicate patterns and universal character. This year's novelties included also oak decors Goodwin Oak and Rookwood Oak. All of the new surfaces fit into Interprint’s philosophy - they look great in combination with other decors. Universal and unobtrusive, they offer unlimited possibilities of creating your own eclectic projects.
