Goodbye trend.
Hello relevance!

Chasing after trends is a thing of the past!
IP25 OpenHouse looks to the future with new perspectives.

Interprint has long been known for breaking tradition. Presenting the surprising. Questioning the tried and tested. Interprint has been asking its customers for a long time: What are trends still good for today? And what is more effective? One thing is clear: if you only look at what already exists, you are constantly lagging behind the future. With IP25, Interprint is now demonstrating throughout the year what is more effective and sensible. With ideas, campaigns, experiments and events. Which focus on what really counts. The kick-off event is the IP25 OpenHouse from May 12 to 28 at the Interprint headquarters in Arnsberg.

Rapidly changing trends do not solve design problems. In fact, quite the opposite!

You know what it's like: the latest trend report says that the color of the year is mustard yellow and the style is based on traditional Bedouin tents. Designers, developers and manufacturers are frantically aligning their latest interior creations accordingly. But, bang, the next trend is just around the corner. Piggy pink is the new blue. Another new drawer. Nothing seems finished. Everyone is at a loss. Why do so many people believe that a rapidly changing trend can solve the design problems of our time?

Trends provide short-term answers to long-term questions. Simple solutions. Easy to understand. Convenient and easy to market. Everything under control! Not at all!  Trends don't answer the questions of the future, they only comment on the present. And that's exactly what Interprint sees differently: design can and must be more than just the next trend color. Innovative, relevant interior design must push boundaries, not just manage them.

With IP25: toward new, future-proof design

What really moves customers? How do society, culture or technology influence the way people live? How they work? How they shop? When Interprint approaches design in this way, something lasting is suddenly created. Something that doesn't get boring after a few months. Or is outdated. This is where the new way of thinking begins. Let's call it a kind of “surface matrix”. Material, technology and society are thought together. Resonate with each other. Creating relationships. Harmonize.

IP25 is an active process. And brings together people from a wide range of disciplines: Artists who bring bold perspectives. Scientists who offer other ways of thinking. Philosophers who broaden the perspective. This is precisely the idea behind IP25: getting out of the trend spiral and into genuine, courageous design. The IP25 OpenHouse in Arnsberg parallel to Interzum 2025 is the starting point. An invitation to try something new together.

Harmony. Connection. Soul.

“Are there no more trends now?” There are, and it's absolutely fine to look at them. But with a critical eye. Innovation begins when you think differently. Colors and patterns tell stories. Surfaces create identification and relationships. But not because they are trendy, but because they are meaningful, relevant and personal. Rooms are creative meeting places. Where classics, innovations and even the odd trend combine to create a unique style and character. Free spaces for thinking, where harmony is created between people, materials and design. Spatial worlds that appeal to the heart and capture the soul of life.

Design must be an inspiration for the future. Away from fast trends and towards a perspective that contributes something substantial to the future. The world needs ideas. Courage to leave the beaten track. And people who lead the way. With IP25, Interprint is showing the new way as a style consultant and source of inspiration. Are you ready to join us?
